Computer Basic Course Syllabus

Week 2: Computer Hardware

  • Central Processing Unit (CPU), memory, storage devices
  • Input and output devices (keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer)
  • Connecting peripherals and cables

Week 3: Software Essentials

  • Differentiating between system software and application software
  • Introduction to operating systems (Windows 7, Windows10)
  • Installing and uninstalling software applications

Week 4: File Management

  • Organizing files and folders
  • Creating, copying, moving, and deleting files
  • Using cloud storage and file synchronization

Week 5: Internet Basics

  • Introduction to the Internet and its uses
  • Web browsers and searching the web effectively
  • Understanding URLs, hyperlinks, and bookmarks

Week 6: Email and Communication

  • Setting up and using email accounts
  • Composing, sending, and receiving emails
  • Netiquette and online communication etiquette

Week 7: Word Processing
